The four bedroom home is designed by Manuel Cervantes Céspedes, a Mexico City architect whose work, Casa Estudio, Avándaro House and Brandílera House, has been featured internationally and earned an Honorable Mention at the 2024 Bienal Nacional de Arquitectura Mexicana. To our knowledge, it’s the first of his homes offered as a vacation rental.
Maison Le Collet is set in the heart of Centro Histórico, directly between the Jardín and Parque Juárez. This 5-bedroom Spanish colonial home captures San Miguel de Allende living at its absolute finest.
The Main Level
True to classic colonial design, the main floor wraps around a lush central garden anchored by a dramatic fountain the architectural heart of the home. Surrounding it, you’ll find a dramatic living room, an informal den, a formal dining room, and a fully equipped gourmet kitchen with a generous breakfast nook.
The outdoor sala is a covered living area with a fireplace, comfortable lounge seating, a wet bar, and a flat-screen TV perfect for evening gatherings under the San Miguel sky.

The second floor holds the master suite along with two additional en-suite bedrooms, both with direct access to the rooftop terrace.

Parking is available in a public lot just 1.5 blocks away. The property is non-smoking, does not allow events, and requires a minimum guest age of 30. The pool is maintained at 28°C (82.4°F), with the option to increase to 30°C (86°F) for an additional fee.

Located on Aldama St. one block from the Jardin this home is full of Mexican charm and has all modern conveniences including AC in each bedroom. Landscaped garden/patio on the ground level off the dining room. Roof terrace with views of the surrounding neighborhood and the Parroquia. All bedrooms have en-suite baths. New televisions with cable, filtered water. The maid gets wonderful reviews and is a great cook!
